The brand wines Baltasar Gracian is a tribute to the most important writer of the seventeenth century, born in Belmonte de Gracian (8 km from Miedes) where the winery also has vineyards. This icewine is made with Macabeo grapes, pairs especially well with for fish, cheeses, pates, seafood and an endless list of desserts. Serve between 6ºC and 8ºC.
Baltasar Gracian Blanco de Hielo is a young icewine, made from the Macabeo grape variety, from vineyards between 20 and 40 years old, planted at high altitude (between 700m and 1000m) in clay-calcareous soil and rocky natural drainage. Late harvest wine, in mid-November, from the cold highlands high altitude. Trasladas once the winery grapes perform fermentation in stainless steel between 22 and 25 days at a controlled temperature of 10°C. Alcohol: 13% vol. Tasting notes: Pale yellow with greenish hues. On the nose its intense aroma of tropical and exotic fruits. On the palate, concentrated, refreshing acidity and delicate sweetness. A soft and pleasant wine to drink.
