La Vendimia is a young red wine made from the grape varieties 65% Tempranillo and 35% Garnacha, from vineyards owned younger, La Montesa, seven ways, and Valcaldera Rihuelo, situated on the slopes of Mount Yerga in D.O.Ca. Rioja. Vintage hand, minimizing mechanical handling and preserving wine making wine aeration and oxidation in their movements and racking. Partially mash with whole grape (carbonic maceration). Aged for 5 months in French oak barrels. Alcohol: 14% vol. Tasting notes: ruby purple color, lively and bright. On the nose, exhale aromatic and elegant notes of strawberry, pepper and cloves. Greedy mouth, digestive fresh, fine tannins, moderate body but pulposus and striking flavors. Fresh, fruity, juicy and long.
