Font de la Figuera is a red wine made from the grape varieties of 60% Grenache, 10% Carignan, 30% Syrah, Mourvedre and Cabernet Sauvignon from vineyards with an average age of between 11 and 14 years, in the D.O.Q. Priorat. Vintage in boxes of 20 kg, with selection table to enter the warehouse. The alcoholic fermentation is carried out in steel containers of 2500 liters, at a controlled temperature, with "pigeage" daily. After fermentation, macerated for another two weeks. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, the second year of 300 and 500 liters. And igera filtration before bottling.
Tasting notes: Intense red with blue trim and good clean tear formation. Intense red fruit, rosemary, laurel and toffee, tightly integrated with the end balsamic. First taste is fresh with tour, appearing after the red and black fruit. Final complex with toast and coffee.
