  • Baltasar Gracian Expresion is a red wine made ??from the varieties: 53% Grenache, 19% Tempranillo and 28% Syrah, from a selection of small plots located at high altitude, terraced and different orientations, in D.O. Calatayud (Aragon, Spain). After the harvest the grapes are moved to the cellar where macerated for 1 month. Each variety was fermented separately to get a perfect varietal character; malolactic fermentation performed partially in French oak barrels, Nevers, Vosges and Allier, completing six months barrel over once the blend. This range is named after the writer Baltasar Gracian seventeenth century, who was born in Belmonte de Gracian village, 8 km from the cellar. Alcohol: 14.5% vol. Tasting notes: Ruby red color. Intense fruity aromas and balsamic. The palate balanced, structured and long finish.
