Altos Las Hormigas Reserve is a varietal red wine made ??from Malbec grape variety, from vineyards located more than 800 meters high, located in the ancient riverbeds Uco Valley (Argentina). Harvest in late March with a careful selection on arrival at the winery, where they undergo a soft pressing. The grapes from different vineyards are vinified separately before the final blend, fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks between 24ºC and 28°C for promoting maceration. During fermentation, the must is pumped over 3 times daily for extraction, with rack 2 and returns occurring in total, once at the beginning and once at the end. Aging in new French and American oak and second use, where it remains between 15 and 18 months, rest in bottles for 3 months before release. Alcohol: 13% vol. Tasting Notes: Red color with shades of blue and violet. Aromas of ripe red fruits and black, amalgamated with chocolate, coconut and vanilla. A well-balanced palate, supported by firm tannins on the long finish and fine.
