Colonia Las Liebres is the brand that Altos Las Hormigas envolved to produce wines with the grape variety Bonarda, an Italian grape from Piedmont region, who arrived in Argentina in the late 1800s in the hands of immigrants. Made from the Bonarda grape variety, from vines 30 years old. Harvest in late March and vinification in stainless steel tanks of 300 hl, with controlled temperature between 28°C-30°C, with 10 days of maceration, plus a daily winding allowing you to achieve the best extraction. No breeding, so it is a wine that results from the expression of the grape and place. Alcohol: 13.5% vol.
Tasting notes: Cherry red upper middle layer. On the nose, aromas of blackberry and currant fruit. On the palate, notes of stewed fruit and light touches of snuff, with feelings minerals. Fresh and long finish with aftertaste of spice, menthol sweet and well integrated tannins.
