Pruno is a red wine made from varieties Tinto Fina 90% and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, from 60 hectares of vineyards in Onesimus Quintanilla (Valladolid), planted on sandy soil, clay and quartz. Hand harvested in small boxes, to get to the winery the grapes are destemmed, not squeezed. Traditional vinification with alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels for three years. Alcohol: 14% vol. Tasting Notes: purple. Very expressive, with aromas of toffee, graphite, toast, wild blueberry and blackberry liqueur Nariza. All followed by a full body, full of flavor and layers of very sharp and elegant fruit, impeccable balance, and long, pure finish.
