L'Avi Arrufi is a dry red wine made from the grape varieties 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Garnacha, 25% Merlot, 15% Syrah and 10% Tempranillo, from vineyards between 25 and 50 in Township Bats D.O. Terra Alta. Harvest in late September. Traditional wine aged for 15 months in American oak barrels and French. Acohol: 14.5% vol.
Tasting notes: Intense ruby red color, with sharp edge. Nose: ripe, fine creamy notes (cocoa) oak, ripe fruit and background mineral. The palate is powerful, concentrated, excellent structure and great potential fruit. Rich hues and an elegant balance of ripe fruit and oak.
