Artazuri is made from Grenache variety, comes from young vines Artazu, Navarra wine region, planted on land brown-limestone and clay-limestone, where they practice agriculture and balanced maintenance, to achieve quality grapes. Vinification Traditional, with fermentation and maceration of 15-20 days in steel tanks inoxidablea controlled temperature of 28ºC to 30ºC, with frequent pumping over. Aged in French oak barrels. Alcool: 14% vol. Tasting Notes: Bright cherry red color. In the nose fruity aromas (lavender, violet) and acids. On the palate fresh and tasty, clean well ensablados tannins with fruit.
More about Artazu Winery. The Group Artadi, makes wines in the D.O. Navarra since 1996 with his Artazu winery, a small village near Puente La Reina. Its vineyards planted mostly with Grenache grape varidad on very poor soils, brown-limestone and clay-calcareous composition. The production of their wines is based on red and pink with good acidity, medium, tasty and aromatic body. At present, the Artadi Vineyards and Wines group, under the direction of Juan Carlos Lopez Lacalle, produces wines based on Grenache, with practices organic and biodynamic agriculture. Wines are modern, young, fruity, aromatic and balanced, reflecting the characteristics of the "terroir", faithful to tradition and the good work of the wine region of Navarra.
