Finca Nueva Reserva is a red wine made from the grape variety Tempranillo vines over 20 years planted the D.O.Ca. Rioja. Traditional Winemaking malolactic fermentation and aging in oak barrels for 24 months in Allier French oak barrels. Alcohol: 14% vol. Tasting notes: Deep red color, garnet and cardinal. Aroma intensely fruity (cherry and ripe plum liquor), with hints of woods (cedar). Very balanced with fresh acidity and polished tannins although intense, velvety, with a long finish of ripe fruit. Fleshy on the palate, tasty and alive.
The wine guide, The Wine Advocate got to this wine with 87 points Parker. "The maiden 2004 Reserva has a very pure, well-defined bouquet with joyful red currant, fresh strawberry and raspberry scents. The palate is a little disjointed on the entry with primal, rather obdurate tannins. I feel that it missing the composure and focus of the 2005 Reserva. Drink now-2015".
