MdO Ochoa Moscato is a semi-sweet sparkling wine, made with Moscatel Menudo Grade from vineyards of the D.O. Navarra. After the harvest, turn to stripping to remove scratches, a small crumpled and a light pressing, is extracted naturally fermented juice that until a level of 5.5% vol. Its fine bubbles comes from the natural process of fermentation of the must. Alcohol: 5.5% vol.
Tasting notes: Bright color pale golden yellow. Fine bubbles naturally derived fermentation. Aromas typical of muscatel, white roses, ripe fruit and citrus remember. The palate reminiscent of ripe fruit, citrus. It is fresh, elegant, with its own identity, fine bubbles and discreet.
- More about Bodegas Ochoa is a family business with a long tradition, dating back to the Middle Ages, with the winegrower Ochoa Ayanz, from Olite (Navarra). The 143 hectares of vineyards that have at present are based on 80 ha, were planted by Adrian Ochoa, in the early twentieth century in La Plana de Olite. They grow eight different indigenous varieties as the Tempranillo, Graciano, Garnacha, Viura and Moscatel de Grano Menudo; and foreign, Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Today the winery is run by the fifth and sixth generation of the family, headed by Javier Ochoa, his wife Marivi, and and daughters Adriana Beatriz in Technical and Management in the Department of Marketing.
Since 2006 added to its range of produtos olive oil, they obtenidoa from 12 Ha Arbequina olive trees situated between the vineyards of the "Finca el Bosque". In recent years they have also planted different varieties such as Tosca, Koroneiki an experimental mode. In its property develop a comprehensive agricultural programs encouraged I+D+I in order to create innovative wines.
