  • Ochoa Moscatel Vendimia Tardía is a sweet white wine made from the variety 100% Moscatel de Grano Menudo, a selection of overripe reacimos, from vineyards in the El Bosque, in the DO Navarra. Vintage late at night is done, because there are low temperatures, where the best grapes are selected, overripe and high concentration of sugars. On arrival at winery starts gently pressed and then start the fermentation, cold, so a sweet wine with great aromatic potential and an appropriate balance between sugar and acidity is obtained. Alcohol: 12.5% vol. Tasting Notes: very bright golden yellow color. Very aromatic, with hints of candied fruit, dried apricots and raisins with floral touches. The palate is broad, smooth, balanced, broad, savory, fatty, with an extraordinary balance between sweet and sour flavors, and very persistent aftertaste.

  • More about Bodegas Ochoa is a family business with a long tradition, dating back to the Middle Ages, with the winegrower Ochoa Ayanz, from Olite (Navarra). They grow eight different indigenous varieties as the Tempranillo, Graciano, Garnacha, Viura and Moscatel de Grano Menudo; and foreign, Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Today the winery is run by the fifth and sixth generation of the family, headed by Javier Ochoa, his wife Marivi, and and daughters Adriana Beatriz in Technical and Management in the Department of Marketing.
