  • El Paraguas Atlantico is a wine made in the DO Ribeiro under the winemaking direction Felicísimo Pereira. Is obtained from a selection of old vines native Galician 3 varieties of grapes: Treixadura, Albariño and Godello, each vinified separately, with the latest technologies in winemaking, including stainless steel tanks and aged in a partial French oak barrels. Bottled in May 2016. Alcohol: 13.1% vol. Tasting Notes: Very bright clean lemon yellow. The nose displays aromas of very elegant white fruit (apple and pear) with citrus (lime) and hay pleasant tones. Later floral notes appear (mimosas and chamomile) and lavender that give character and personality of a saline background in which the wood comes very dimly. Flavor is tasty and fatty, enjoying a silky step, with an excellent combination of fruit and acidity. Very expressive, with an outstanding complexity and persistence. Marked balsamic and citrus notes at the end, leaving a pleasant memory of your fruit aftertaste.

  • The independent wine guide, The Wine Advocate, has tasted this wine, and gave it 92 points Parker. "The 2014 El Paraguas is a blend of approximately 85% Treixadura, 9% Godello and 6% Albariño fermented separately with indigenous yeasts, in the case of the Godello in 600-liter oak barrels where it matured for three months. There are aromas of lemon sherbet, citric, denoting freshness, developing more complexity in the glass, tangerine peel, musky apples and aromatic herbs. The palate is sharp and focused, delineated and clean. Precision. 6,400 bottles were filled in April 2015."
