Viura Cepas Viejas wine is a wine for aging, a white wine from vines more than 60 years grown on the plot number 2 Finca La Emperatriz. The grapes are harvested during the first week of October. The vinification begins with cold fermentation of the must, at a temperature below 17ºC in French oak barrels then aged in the same barrels for 9 months with its fine lees removed. On tasting the wine Viura Cepas Viejas shown bright and very clean pale yellow color, with intense fruit aromas of pear and peach, along with floral and spicy notes; in mouth unctuous and full-bodied. 4620 bottles produced.
